1. How do I place my order?
Simply telephone or email our office and we’ll be more than happy to assist.

2. Do you have a minimum order value?
Yes, our minimum order value is £15,000 including VAT.

3. What are your delivery/installations lead in times?
Between 10/12 weeks from signed approval of your GAD, faster times may be available on request.

4. Do ClearSpan have a factory which I can visit?
Yes, a 25,000ft² state of the art manufacturing facility which is based in Ashton under Lyne just outside Manchester. If you wish to visit our factory then please contact us to arrange an appointment which is convenient for you. 

5.  Who checks my measurements’?
We send out a (General Arrangement Drawing) GAD via email/post this is to confirm all your sizes, we also ask for an image/photo to help with any other anomalies. Should you feel you require a more in-depth service, we can arrange for a surveyor to visit your site at a cost of £420.00 including VAT.

6. What are your payment terms?
30% with order, 30% on approval of GAD and 40% on delivery.

7. Can I finance my purchase with ClearSpan?
Yes, and it’s unsecured through Barclays Partner Finance at just 7.4% APR. Ask for more details.

8. Can I buy the ClearSpan product elsewhere?
No all the extrusions are unique to our group and can only be purchased through ClearSpan.

9. How slim are the Folding Sliding Doors?
The aluminium frames are just 55mm in width, thus giving 111mm glass to glass allowing more glass and more light for your room.

10. What size doors are available?
Our maximum size door is 1100mm wide by 3000mm high; all our doors are available in 50mm increments with a variety of configurations.

11. Does the ClearSpan product comply with the Building Regulation Document ‘L’?
Yes, all our products surpass the requirements of building regulation document ‘L’.

12. Do the doors open in or out?
All our doors open both outwards and inwards.

13. Can the door threshold be flush?
Yes ClearSpan supply a range of tracking systems to suit your project.

14. Can I install the product myself?
All our product range is fitted by our experienced fitters, because the doors require attention to detail when setting up and if the glazing packers are not correctly set, then this may cause operation problems at a later stage.

15. Do the doors have trickle vent?
If required, we can include trickle vents on your doors.

16. Can ClearSpan supply internal blinds?
No, we do not recommend this type of system as they can fade and become loose inside the unit.

17. What type of glass is available?
As standard, our glass is toughened safety ‘Low E’, set in a 4-16-4 configuration and Argon filled, other glass specifications are available speak to a member of our sales team for further information.

18. What is the ‘U’ value?
The centre pane is 1.1 watts per meter squared and they typically have a “U” value of 1.6 W/m²K.

19. Do the doors come with a guarantee?
We offer a full five year guarantee with all our products, full details on request.

20. What is the paint finish?
All ClearSpan products are finished using polyester powder in accordance with BS6496:1984. ClearSpan offers a standard range of colours (RAL’s) but will deviate from that range (for a premium) provided the chosen RAL is stable and appropriate for external use. Bespoke RAL colours are available at an extra cost please ask one of our sales representatives for further details.

21. How old is ClearSpan?
ClearSpan was incorporated in 1968 and is over 60 yrs old.
